Nubia Air vs Galaxy S25 Edge vs iPhone 17 Air
Against Galaxy S25 Edge
- Galaxy S25 Edge: Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, flagship performance, premium price.
- Nubia Air: Slimmer, tougher (IP69), and much cheaper.
Against iPhone 17 Air (Rumored)
- iPhone 17 Air: Slim (~5.8mm), A19 Bionic chip, 120Hz LTPO OLED.
- Nubia Air: Imitates slim design & premium look at a budget price point.
- We’re not just talking about that super-slim flat-edged body, either. The Nubia Air’s long curvy-edged camera module looks mighty familiar. There are hints of the Google Pixel 9 in there, too.

There are two colours featured here: black and a kind of metallic off-gold. We also get a little pop of colour in the form of a red power button on the right hand edge, just below the volume rocker.
revious rumours have suggested that the Nubia Air could run on a Unisoc T800 chip, which is very much not a flagship component. Together with Nubia’s history of undercutting its flagship rivals by hundreds of pounds (check out my Nubia Z70 Ultra review), we could be looking at the most affordable skinny phone of the lot.
If it features a 5000mAh battery, as rumoured, it could also have the best stamina of any skinny phone to date, too.
